Hungarian Beef Goulash Recipe
I simply love a warm stew on a winter’s evening and this is one of my favourites. Something about fork tender slow cooked beef that is magical!
I opt for grassfed beef, local vegetables and extra virgin coconut oil.
This is a great paleo dinner idea that you can prepare very easily.
This recipe makes 2 servings. Has a prep time of about 15 minutes and 150 minutes cooking time. This is a great paleo dinner idea.
The whole dish for 2 servings contains
Coconut Cooking oil
1/2 lb stewing beef
2 onions sliced
1 clove garlic
1 bell pepper sliced
2 tbsp paprika
2 tsp caraway seeds
1 can chopped tomatoes
1 1/2 cups beef stock
parsley for garnish
salt and pepper to taste
- Preheat oven to 350 F
- Brown beef in oil
- Set beef aside and now soften the onions. Add garlic and peppers and soften for a further 5 minutes
- reintroduce beef and add spices, stock and tomato
- Put lid on pot and put into oven
- Cook for 2 and half hours. Your fork should just go right through it.
